Hello world
While waiting for our equipment to arrive, I whipped something up to communicate Flappa to the world. We'll be keeping this blog up to date with our non-newsletter-exclusive posts (flaps? nuggets? I don't know what to call them yet).
What've you been up to recently?
Vince (the vet) and I (the engineer) have been in South Africa exploring the wilderness and helping with conservation. We've had hands on experience with anti-poaching K9 units, game farm managers and agricultural companies. While I'm back in the UK for exams, Vince stayed out to explore marine conservation, more farming and security. It has been a fruitful trip and we look forward to returning at the end of this year.
What's next?
The 3d printers will still take a week of two to arrive so I'll be working on a demo of our app and CADing and CFDing some wing designs and working on the LDA for the wind tunnel. I'll try to keep twitter updated. Vince will be editing some footage together for our first video update!
